Hyderabad: A two-day “Communicon 2021” conference on communication in healthcare organized by Apollo Hospitals in collaboration with the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and the Society for Development and Implementation of Professional Curriculum for Communication in Healthcare (SDIPCCH) ended here Sunday. .

The conference featured deliberations on effective communication with patients, the role of non-verbal communication in physician-patient interaction, empathy in communication, bad news, violence against physicians, and bad news in patient care. obstetric practice.
