Police release name of seriously injured Moorhead man near I-94/I-29 interchange – InForum

FARGO — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of the man who was seriously injured in an accident on Sunday, September 4.

David Miller, 68, of Moorhead, was driving south on the north shoulder of Interstate 29 around 1:45 p.m. near the tri-level interchange with Interstate 94, according to Highway Patrol.

“In this area, the median is paved with a raised concrete median barrier, which divides northbound and southbound traffic. At the three-level interchange, the Acura hit the end of one of the barriers concrete medians with the right front of the vehicle.” Highway Patrol officers said in a statement.

Miller’s vehicle came to rest in the westbound northbound lane, facing west. He was seriously injured and was taken to a local hospital. Officers say he was not wearing a seat belt.

The accident was reported less than 24 hours after a fatal accident the previous day. At approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, Zachery Noble was traveling north on I-29 near the tri-level interchange when he veered off the right side of the roadway and struck a concrete support pillar, which supports the eastbound lanes of I-94. . After impact, the car came to rest in the right-hand northbound lane. Noble was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both crashes are still under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
