The dancer, who was on Strictly’s last series with Max George, said she doesn’t “plan things too much” because she is “a pretty disorganized person.”

Asked about marriage by Hello! magazine, she explained: I’m a pretty disorganized person actually, Joe and I don’t really talk about that sort of thing.

“We’re both so relaxed that we just play it by ear. We enjoy each other’s company so much and no matter what, happens.

Dianne also admitted that she truly missed her family in Australia while living in the UK, believing it to be the “hardest thing” she faced on a daily basis.

She was ready to visit her family Down Under for Christmas, but was forced to change her plans amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

But she was quick to add that she loved living in the UK with her boyfriend and was thrilled to be able to do the job she loves.

Dianne was recently forced to make an early exit from the dance show’s latest series as her on-screen partner Robert retired two years after open heart surgery.

The New Zealand native told Women’s Health: ‘[Robert’s] health is obviously the most important thing in all of this. I’m just glad he was caught in time so that there was no damage to his heart.

‘When I have a difficulty [situation] go up, I allow myself to feel that [emotion].

“I think it’s really important not to override the feeling of, you know, I’m really disappointed. I loved dancing with Robert. I feel pretty sad about it.

“Instead of just erasing that, I allow myself to have these days to really feel what I’m feeling and then, once I get that sadness out of me, then I’m like, ‘Okay, now it is time to look what else can i do with this time. “
