Who is Alex Hall from “Selling The OC”? Meet the new Group O Agent

Clear your schedule because Sell the OC, The latest real estate drama from the Oppenheim Group, just dropped on Netflix, and I hereby declare it a must watch.

From the moment real estate agent Alex Hall appears onscreen in a plunging red dress, it’s clear she’s a star. And when you see her heels (which are so thin they seem to float through one of her $106 million Laguna Beach ads), you may find yourself, in a word, obsessed.

OC’s latest reality queen served to women’s health ahead of the show’s premiere on intra-office politics with Alexandra Rose and Alexandra Jarvis (yes, in this cast of 11 agents there are three different Alexandras), what “snooping” really means and what the future reserves her fellow cast members.

But wait, who is Alex Hall apart from Sell CO?

Alex is a new realtor at the O Group office in Orange County, where she was born and raised. Alex has been selling high-end real estate for nearly a decade and has a background in interior design, according to his Group O biography.

A quick scroll through Alex’s insta, which is refreshingly normal, shows that his hobbies include roller skating with his dog…

Hit the beach (he is Orange County, after all)…

And spending a lot of time with her adorable children.

During a confessional, Alex describes herself as a perfectionist and declares that when one is a single mother, “failure is not an option”.

She tries to keep her feet on the ground.

Alex is more of a backstage girl. In fact, his surge in Instagram followers (4,600+) is completely alien to him and overwhelming.

“I have about four DMs, and I’m like, ‘Ahhh, I don’t know what to do!'” says Alex women’s health. “It still doesn’t feel real.”

“When we were filming, people were like, ‘You’re going to be the star,’ but I really don’t see it that way,” she says. But this single mother is very ambitious and she knew that this project could bring great opportunities.

“Anything I can to secure a future for my children and me, I will do pretty much,” she adds. “My goal for this trip is to stay true to myself and keep my feet on the ground.”

But… things are still up in the air with Kayla.

Alex Hall and co-star Kayla Cardona seem pretty close in the first episode, but after some one-list drama (which may or may not be overpriced), allegiances change.

Oh, and there’s the other big drama, when—spoiler alert—Kayla tries to kiss Tyler Stanaland, O’s agent and actress husband Brittany Snow, at a party. Alex was definitely not a fan of this decision.

Their working relationship seems to have remained a little frosty, as Alex has only named Polly Brindle, Tyler, Austin Victoria, and Brandi Marshall among his best friends from the O group.

In fact, she was quite sidetracked when talking about the state of things with Kayla. “There are people I walk lightly with and I’ve decided to keep a distance while remaining cordial,” she says. “I watch from afar to see if our morals align.”

She didn’t start *this* rumor about Alexandra Rose.

Alex is at the center of an ongoing feud that arises between the agents. It’s basically Rose and Jarvis versus everyone else.

On the show, Rose accuses Alex of spreading a rumor that Rose is sleeping with developers to get listings. It was misinterpreted and hard to watch on TV, says Alex W.H.. She says she actually just told Rose about a rumor going around the office.

“I said you better be careful because it’s a very small town,” says Alex. “And there’s a rumor going around that your moral compass is off, and you’re sleeping with or doing things with developers to get rosters.”

Alex says Rose laughed it off and denied it. But then she confronted her other coworkers about the rumor, which led to general awkwardness and drama for episodes to come.

Let it be said, Alex Hall did not launch this rumor (according to her). But she says it all left a sour taste in her mouth for both Alexandras.

She still thinks Gio was blowing the alleged “snub” out of proportion.

During one of its inaugurations on the theme of sake and sushi, Sell CO Actor Gio Helou confronts Alex Hall on behalf of his wife, saying his wife tried to give Alex a big hug and hello at a recent office party, and Alex “snubbed” her.

But Alex now says she feels “vindicated” by the party footage: The greeting was a bit awkward, sure, but she did Say hello.

“It really didn’t suit me,” says Alex W.H.. “He made a mountain out of a molehill even though there was no substance to what he was saying.”

Now, about that “sniffing out” thing…

There are also discussions of “sniffing out” on the show. Yes, you heard right.

Alex wanted to clarify that “sniffing” is not a sexual act. It’s just putting your mouth on someone’s nose, like she does to Tyler in an early beach scene. Of course, this later becomes controversial.

“It’s pretty disgusting, actually,” she said. W.H..

Alex Hall is here for the long haul.

The new reality TV personality is most certainly ready to revive it should a second season arrive. “I’m down for seasons 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Everything,” Alex says. “At least for now. Talk to me after the broadcast!”

Stream all eight episodes of Sell CO on Netflix.
